High-Speed Hallowing

High-Speed Hallowing is a fast-paced top-down action game where you kill enemies by dealing damage based on how fast you slam into them.  Performing certain actions quickly will reset your dash and grapple ability, allowing you to zoom around the map quickly!

You are a spirit and must rid the area of ghosts by cleansing the shrines around the map. Each ghost has its own unique behavior, attacks, strengths, and weaknesses.

(Controller controls should work similarly on all gamepads)

Dash:  Quickly move forward in a straight line. If pressed while moving into a wall, you will bounce off the wall instead (wall-dash).

Grapple: Aim towards an enemy or wall to accelerate towards it.

Snap-dash: Point mouse at a nearby enemy and hold to teleport to them. Release mouse button to dash in a direction using WASD.

Mechanics

Mechanics:

Your damage is based on how fast you are moving when you hit an enemy.

Dash and grapple have a cooldown. Wall-dash and snap-dash do not.

Performing a wall-dash or snap-dash quickly will refresh the cooldown of dash and grapple.

Sequencing your abilities well will allow you to constantly dash and grapple around the map.
